Divine Mercy Sunday is the Sunday after Easter Sunday, April 8, 2018. We will start the Divine Mercy Novena on Good Friday. This will be something you can do at home, as close to 3pm as you can. This Novena asks for prayers each of the nine days for a different group of souls in order to immerse them in the sea of God’s Mercy! Our Lord thus instructed Sister Faustina: “My daughter, speak to the whole world of My incomprehensible Mercy. I desire that the Feast be a refuge and a shelter for all souls, especially for poor sinners. The very depths of My Mercy will be opened on that day. I will pour out a sea of graces upon those souls that will approach the font of My Mercy. Those who go to confession and receive Holy Communion on Mercy Sunday will obtain complete remission of sins and punishment!” Jesus promised that “Whoever will recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will receive great mercy at the hour of death. When they say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as a Judge, but as the Merciful Savior”. CLICK the TITLE for daily Novena devotionals.
