Visitation of the Sick

VISITATION OF THE SICK
VOLUNTEERS GREATLY NEEDED FOR THIS MINISTRY,
PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING OUR TEAM
 
The Visitation of the Sick Ministry is comprised of trained Eucharistic Ministers who are approved by the Pastor and who undergo a background check (fingerprinting).  Weekly visits are made by volunteers of this ministry to parishioners who are sick or who have physical limitations that prevent them from attending church.  The visits are made at their home or at a senior living facility, The Atrium. 
 
The primary purpose of the visits is to bring Holy Communion and to pray with the homebound parishioners and thus help them continue to be a part of the parish community.
